My name is Lauren Cate Leake (sometimes called LC) and I am an artist from the southeast. Born in Louisiana, I call southern Mississippi home. Thanks to a flourishing artistic environment, I spent my formative and young adult years in the performing arts. Learning everything from ballet to opera beginning at age four, I’ve worked with professional theatre companies and performed many dream roles. I even got to play Christine AND Meg in Phantom of the Opera! Inspired by so many other authors, I shifted my focus to finishing and publishing the stories that I’ve been imagining for years! When I’m not performing or writing, I love to hike, thrift, and escape to fantasy worlds. I have two cats: fifteen year old Mercutio (who was born into my hands) and my (terrible) two year old kitten Charlie Girl. Just kidding Charlie I know it’s a phase.
